Steel price increase to drive higher EBITDA for European steel — European HRC
and stainless prices both have increased in Q1’26 and will reflect in the Q2’26 P&L
with the lag. We see the carbon steel ASPs rising by $30/t q/q offsetting the higher
raw material and energy costs. Our expectations for sector EBITDA increase by $21/t
reflects the benefits from positive operating leverage from improving capacity
