2015 Richemont merges The Net-A-Porter Group with YOOX Group in an all-share transaction. Shares in the combined
entity, the Yoox Net-A-Porter Group, are traded on the Italian stock exchange. Following the merger, Richemont
held 49% of the share capital while its voting rights are limited to 25%.
2017 Richemont sells Shanghai Tang, a wholly-owned subsidiary, to an Italian entrepreneur. Richemont takes a 7.5%
stake in travel retailer Dufry and a 30% stake in Kering Eyewear.
2018 Richemont acquires the remaining share capital of the YNAP group. Richemont buys 100% stake in Watchfinder
(a pre-owned premium watch specialist based in the UK) and creates a new reportable segment called "Online
Distributors" comprised of YNAP and Watchfinder. Company disposes its stake in Lancel to Italian high-end
briefcase maker Piquadro
2019 In September 2019, Richemont acquires Italian jewellery maison Buccellati and in October Net-a-Porter
announces that will open a flagship store in association with Alibaba's T-mall.
2020 Richemont, Alibaba and Farfetch announce a global strategic partnership. Richemont and Alibaba take a
combined 25% stake in a new JV that will include Farfetch’s marketplace operations in the China
2021 In 2021, Richemont acquires Belgian luxury leather goods maison Delvaux in a private transaction.
2022 In 2022, Richemont announced a deal to sell 47.5% of YNAP to Farfetch. Richemont took a material €2.7bn write-
down as part of the transaction.
