also expand shoe development/sales leveraging brand synergies. (2) Food: strengthens
downstream-driven value chain based on market-in approach. Through FamilyMart and
~2,000 partners, captures consumer needs in real time and links to product creation.
Emphasizes hands-on management with the partners.
Data-driven value creation: (1) ICT & Finance: leverages primary on-site data/know-how
and deep process understanding as a competitive advantage—“live data” beyond AI. Provides
optimal solutions including AI to address customer needs. (2) No.8: develops retail media via
FamilyMart (FamiPay, digital signage), using purchasing data and retail media to drive sales
promotion and create new business opportunities.
