infrastructure setup through agent rollout and change management. We believe the J.P. Morgan Securities LLC
company is well positioned to provide insights as to how the industry is
approaching adoption, while the demo and Q&A were particularly useful in adding
context to the AI-disintermediation debate in brokerage and forwarding that
surfaced earlier this year (details here). Key takeaways from the discussion include
Raman’s view of how AI will impact carriers, brokers and forwarders, why most
AI pilots fail to deliver a positive ROI, and how the company competes with
customers to outsource their AI initiatives to Pallet. Overall, we continue to believe
that scaled incumbents with data advantages are well positioned to stay ahead of
AI-native disrupters, although Raman was clear that incumbency is only an
advantage if paired with a willingness to embrace and deploy AI. A replay of the
