Corteva Inc.: New Corteva Growth Expectations Likely Too Low
FoundationMproducts. We do not dismiss those risks. Instead, they are already embedded in our
bridge. We estimate up to 40% cannibalization of legacy products and a ~2% annual
headwind from reduced efficacy, generic pressure, or product exits. Even after those
offsets, our model still supports a 2–5% revenue CAGR.
The R&D bridge is the core reason New Corteva deserves a higher multiple, in
our view. We believe New Corteva can add roughly $1.2B of revenue by 2030 and
$4.6B by 2038 versus its 2026 base. The 2038 bridge includes $3.7B from future
synthetic product launches, $1.7B from products already launched, $1.3B from
biologicals, and $500m from market growth, offset by $1.5B of cannibalization and
$1.1B from efficacy loss / pruning.
Several named launches give investors a tangible pipeline to underwrite. The
most important future products are Haviza, Bexoveld, Kinrayza, and Varpelgo. Haviza
is expected to launch in 2027 with potential peak sales of $500–750m; Bexoveld is
expected to launch in 2028 with potential peak sales of $200–500m; Kinrayza is
expected to launch in 2029 with potential peak sales of $200–500m; and Varpelgo
could reach $750m–$1B in peak sales.
The launched-product ramp also matters. Arylex and Rinskor are expected to
approach $1B of combined revenue by 2027, while Reklemel, Inatreq, and Adavelt
each have potential peak sales of $200–500m.
Biologicals provide a second growth leg beyond synthetic chemistry. Biologicals
are a smaller but faster-growing crop protection category, and New Corteva has
already built scale through Stoller and Symborg. We forecast biologicals growing
from roughly $500m today to $1B in 2030 and $1.85B in 2038, supported by
