FTSE EPRA Nareit - Subject to the completion of the Merger with Equity

Residential (USA, constituent) and Avalonbay Communities (USA,

constituent), Avalonbay Communities (USA) will be deleted from the index.

Equity Residential (USA) will remain in the index with an increased shares in

issue total and an increased investability weighting. Please note that in the

absence of an active trading market, Avalonbay Communities will be removed

from the FTSE Russell Indexes at the merger terms of 2.793 shares of Equity

Residential. Also, upon completion of the merger with Avalonbay

Communities, Equity Residential will have a name change to "Vivmark

Residential" and trade under the symbol "VMRK", effective from the start of

day August 18, 2026
