• IndiGo is in talks for dozens of Embraer E2 jets in a potential billion-dollar

order. IndiGo’s parent company InterGlobe Aviation is in early-stage

discussions with Embraer to purchase dozens of E2 regional jets to replace its

turboprop ATR fleet and expand capacity. The deal could be valued at >US$1bn

in list prices, making it Embraer’s largest order in India. Embraer has already

partnered with Adani’s conglomerate to build aircraft in India and has stated it

needs orders for at least 200 E175 jets before considering an Indian assembly

• Latvia evaluates incorporating the A-29 Super Tucano into air

defense. Latvia's Air Force commander Colonel Viesturs Masulis revealed the

country is assessing the possible acquisition of Embraer's A-29 Super Tucano

turboprop as an air-based defense solution against drones and slow-moving

targets. Initial contacts with manufacturers were made during the Global Air &

Space Chiefs' conference in London in mid-July 2026. The Latvian government

has already allocated over €1bn to strengthen the country's air defense, and the

evaluation is at an early stage pending detailed cost and delivery estimates from
