AC• STOXX will announce the results of the annual review of the EURO STOXX Pankaj Gupta, CFA
50 Index (SX5E) after the close of business on 1 September 2026, with (44-20) 7134-5483
changes effective Friday, 18 September 2026. In general, constituent changes pankaj.gupta2@jpmorgan.com
to the EURO STOXX 50 occur at the September annual review. However, J.P. Morgan Securities plc
changes may also occur at a quarterly review if a stock qualifies under the fast
entry rule (i.e., exceeds the fast entry threshold).
• Annual Review Entry Requirement: In the annual review in September, non-
members ranking 40 or above are added and existing members ranking 61 or
lower are deleted from the index. Rankings are based on free float
market capitalisation provided the stock also meets the Super Sector
coverage criteria.. The review cut-off date for the annual review is 31-Aug-
2026.
• Super Sector coverage criteria: Within each of the 20 ICB Super Sectors,
stocks are ranked by free-float market capitalisation. Stocks are included in the
SX5E ranking list if they fall within the top 60% of the free-float market
capitalisation of the relevant Super Sector index.If the next highest-ranked
stock (just outside the top 60%) brings overall coverage closer to 60% in
absolute terms, that stock is also included in the ranking list, even if it is not
in the top 60%.
