• Technology supply chain production sites in Kumamoto Prefecture:

Kumamoto Prefecture has many technology and semiconductor supply chain

plants (see Figure 2). The Kumamoto earthquakes in 2016 caused considerable

factory damage (mainly semiconductor fabs) in two earthquakes on April 14

(foreshock, JMA seismic intensity 7, magnitude 6.5) and April 16 (main shock,

JMA seismic intensity 7, magnitude 7.3), but following the latest earthquake,

no semiconductor plant damage has been reported in the news or other sources.
