Credit Card Insights into US Multi-Industry – July ’26 Week 2

CITI'S TAKE

Andrew Kaplowitz AC

We continue to examine a subset of Citi US Credit Card data (July ’26 Week +1-212-816-0642

2; ended 7/18) for potential read-throughs. In the “Auto Bucket”, data across andrew.kaplowitz@citi.com

all three subcategories remain mixed and we continue to monitor if a clear

trend appears. In the “Consumer Bucket”, while all subcategories improved Vladimir Bystricky

sequentially (on a y/y basis), Car Washes remained the only +ve subcategory +1-212-816-6595

this week and we remain encouraged by its +7.0% performance YTD vladimir.bystricky@citi.com

(potentially +ve DOV/VNT). In the “HVAC Bucket”, trends continued to

moderate following a significant +ve inflection in June ’26 Week 5. Jose Sulca Flores
