We attended Yaskawa Electric’s i3-Mechatronics Fair. While sales of autonomous AI Research Associate

cutting-edge R&D, with many exhibits leveraging AI technologies. At the Tokyo

Robotics booth, a robot incorporating a new actuator design was showcased. By

increasing motor torque, the company succeeded in reducing the size of the

planetary gearbox, enabling more flexible movements better suited to humanoid

applications. Management indicated that its humanoid robots are targeting higher Yaskawa Electric (6506.T, 6506 JT)

value-added use cases and are also being developed for overseas markets, including Factory Automation | Japan

China. A robot demonstration utilizing agentic AI showcased Gemini AI–based voice Stock Rating Overweight
