when the tariff rate for wind and solar installations moved off the more
advantageous fixed-price tariff system. Adding to the outsized yoy weakness
in May, grid investment also came in well below a uniquely strong May 2025
base level, likely tied in with the massive renewable rush last year.
Nonetheless, YTD grid investment is still around +13% yoy through May and
the particularly strong base level effects in renewables and grid will largely
fade from June onwards.
