Shopee and Meta have launched an Instagram affiliate program in Brazil, Southeast felipe.husein@citi.com

Asia and Taiwan, allowing creators to link their Shopee affiliate accounts to

Instagram, tag marketplace products in Reels and Feed posts, and earn commissions

from resulting purchases. Shopee is among Meta’s first affiliate partners outside the

US, expanding a partnership that began with Facebook’s affiliate program in 2025.

The initiative builds on Shopee’s base of more than 5 million registered creators and

affiliates in Brazil and aims to streamline the shopping journey from product discovery

on Instagram to checkout on Shopee. The companies are also testing a paid

advertising solution that would allow sellers and brands to amplify high-performing

affiliate content through Meta’s ad platform.
