2026 started off with strong momentum and broad investor interest in Biopharma

as healthcare policy worries faded. Newsflow from the ongoing Iran conflict and

the pervasive AI-led tech trade have made it a choppier-than-expected ride since

early March. Indeed, the sector's YTD performance has lagged the broader market

(DRG index: +4.0%; XBI: +12.0%; S&P 500: +10.6%) as faster money look to

flashier headlines. That said, we view that fundamentals remain strong with

robust projected growth in earnings power (+13% y/y BBG cons 2026e) and a

forward P/E of ~17x highlighting potential undervalue to unlock. Combined with a
