Romania: Vestea likely unable to

get enough votes today

The nominated PM (Vestea) submitted the list of ministers and the economic EM, Economic and Policy Research

program to the parliament late yesterday. The hearings of the proposed Nicolaie Alexandru-Chidesciuc

ministers are underway, followed by a vote in parliament starting at 9.30pm local (44 20) 7742-2466

time. Full list of ministers and proposed measures here. nicolaie.alexandru@jpmorgan.com

any measures against the others in the group of 25 MPs; measures are possible,

however, if they vote for Vestea.

We remain of the view that Vestea will fail to obtain approval today. The Vestea

proposal can rely on votes from PSD (128), PACE (11), minorities (17) and UR
