We expect CPO prices to remain at ~MYR4,500/MT by 25 June 2026

The spot price for CPO (crude palm oil) was flat at MYR4,489/MT in the week ended 18

June, according to the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB). This was largely due to weaker

prices of soybean oil and crude oil being balanced by improving exports. Next week, we

expect prices to remain relatively steady as concerns over weaker oil prices are balanced

by rising exports and the depreciation of the MYR. Overall, we expect the average CPO

price to remain at MYR4,500/MT by 25 June. However, if exports weaken or the MYR

strengthens, CPO prices could decline to ~MYR4,400/MT, in our view.

(~USD8.8bn) in foreign exchange in 2026, up from IDR133.3tn (~USD7.5bn) in 2025, and
