Key risks to the company

Geopolitical risks & export controls. The U.S. government has placed export

restrictions on advanced AI GPU chips being shipped to China. PC Partner's

primary manufacturing operations are in China. Any escalation of these restrictions

— including a potential broadening to consumer-grade GPUs — could materially

disrupt manufacturing operations. The Batam, Indonesia facility was established

specifically to address this risk but it remains in early ramp-up and cannot

immediately absorb a full disruption to China operations.

Supplier concentration. PC Partner's business is dependent mainly on its

relationship with NVIDIA, specifically its access to GPU chip allocations and its

status as a premier AIB partner. NVIDIA decides how many chips each partner

receives. Any deterioration in this relationship, reduction in allocation, or shift in

NVIDIA's partner strategy or potential export controls imposed by the US

government could have a direct and significant impact on PC Partner's revenue and

profitability. This risk is structural and cannot be fully mitigated.

Product cyclicality. The consumer graphics card market is cyclical, driven by

NVIDIA's product launch cadence. Between major GPU cycles, demand drops

sharply, leading to inventory build-ups and margin pressure. In FY2023, net profit

fell to HK$60.8 million — a decline of approximately 80% from the prior peak —

demonstrating the potential severity of this cyclicality. The emerging AI server

business is not yet large enough to provide meaningful protection against

consumer cycle downturns.
