We assume a forex rate of ¥160/$, and we estimate that each ¥1 of yen depreciation

(including linked movements against other currencies) would add ¥3.4b to annual

profit (1.3% of our FY3/27 OP forecast).

Environment

As part of its environmental initiatives, Aisin has formulated the Aisin Consolidated

Environmental Action Plan, a five-year action plan, since 1993. Looking ahead to

2030, the company has redefined its scope, benchmarks, and items for evaluation

based on its vision and formulated the more challenging Aisin Environmental Action

Plan 2030, which spans four core domains: carbon neutrality, circular economy,

harmony with nature, and foundation. The company aims for each employee to think

and act toward the achievement of these goals and to advance the effort as a unified

group. Aisin has endorsed the recommendations of the TCFD (Task Force on

Climate-related Financial Disclosures) and provides information disclosure in line with

those recommendations.

Social

Under the three pillars of “Protection of Nature and the Environment”, “Fostering

Youth”, and “Community Building and Development”, Aisin engages in social

contribution activities in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders. In its human

resources strategy, the company defines the ideal state for its people and
