coming back to Salesforce after a long time away from the business. We are referring to Chris Lee who this past week announced he has
returned to Salesforce as Chief Revenue Officer for Agentforce. As part of his social media post announcing his return, he indicated he
believes Agentforce is the next great growth story. For reference, Mr. Lee was a long-time enterprise sales leader, with deep experience
selling CRM products. He was at the former Siebel Systems business from 1998 through 2003, a time that included him reportedly selling
the largest deal in financial services in the company’s history valued at over $30 million in software. Then he went on to Salesforce and
was in a variety of senior sales roles there from 2003 through 2014. He then went to Docusign along with gaining senior leadership/
CRO experience at other tech organizations over time.
This new Salesforce addition also follows another recent addition via the AI transfer portal with Rohan Kumar recently leaving Microsoft
(MSFT, Buy) after 28 years to join Salesforce as President and Chief Platform Officer. He is tasked with more fully maximizing growth
opportunities associated with agentic and headless AI innovations. Mr. Kumar most recently at Microsoft had been responsible for next
gen AI-powered data security, compliance, privacy and data governance products.
Anthropic Updates: This past week, it was announced that Anthropic (Private) and Micron (MU, NR) have entered a strategic
partnership that spans across memory and storage, involvement in Anthropic’s most recent funding round as well as an agreement
to implement Claude across Micron. In Micron’s press release, Anthropic co-founder and chief compute officer, Tom Brown, stated the
