Tereza Cristina Does Not Expect Rural Debt Vote This Year (Poder360, Sep 14)

Senator Tereza Cristina said approval of MP 1,376/2026, which would create special

credit lines for rural debt renegotiation, is unlikely this year due to limited political

support from the government. The delay prolongs uncertainty for farmers seeking

relief after weather-related losses and may keep pressure on the agricultural sector's

financial conditions.

B3 releases its August 2026 operational data (Company filing, Sep 15)

Citi’s Take: Cash equity ADTV ended August at R$29bn,+26% y/y, and +33% m/m,

similar to our expectation (see: B3 - Brasil Bolsa Balcão (B3SA3.SA) - August Activity

Rebounds Sharply Ahead of Elections; Cash Equity ADTV +33% m/m, to R$29bn).

Turnover velocity increased to 146%, +38 p.p. m/m. In the Derivatives segment, ADV

was up 11% m/m and 3% y/y, though partially compensated with revenue per

contract decreasing 3% m/m.
