Daily Financial Markets Monitor
Global stocks fell 0.4% today. US shares retreated 0.5%, while those in the
Euro area fell 0.3%. Japanese equities were little changed. Stocks in emerging
markets slipped 0.5% on net.
The 5-year Treasury yield added 1bp to 4.83%. Meanwhile, the 10-year
Treasury yield increased 1bp to 5.00% and the 30-year yield added 2bp to
5.37%.
The price of Brent crude oil moved up 2.8% to $108.64/bbl.
The trade-weighted dollar moved up 0.1% today. Meanwhile, the euro rose
0.1% and the yen weakened 0.4%.
