Weekly debt issuance, AUM, exchange traded derivative volumes and

fund formation as of 8/10/26

Global debt issuance volumes decreased 30% y/y for the week of 8/3/26, with 9%

y/y growth YTD. For the week of 8/3/26, global corporate investment grade issuance

increased 93% y/y, high yield issuance declined 91% and leveraged loan issuance fell

97%, while global financial institutions issuance expanded 12% and structured

finance issuance decreased 85%. Period average S&P index-linked ETF AUM rose

31% y/y for the week of 8/3/26, with SPGI ESG ETF AUM up 15%, while MSCI

index-linked ETF AUM expanded 35%, with MSCI ESG ETF AUM up 18%. S&P-linked

exchange traded derivative volumes across the CBOE and CME exchanges increased

18% y/y for the week of 8/3/26, while MSCI-linked exchange traded derivative

volumes across the Eurex and ICE exchanges grew 44%. The total number of global

funds rose 7% y/y, with global fund formation down 45%, for the week of 8/3/26,

while the total number of ESG funds expanded 3%, with global ESG fund formation

down 50%.
