April-June OP was ¥12.8bn (c3.4x YoY), significantly beating VA

consensus of ¥5.7bn. Results were strong even excluding the ¥2.1bn tariff

refund. The watch business grew +18% YoY in local currency terms,

delivering material growth following on from that seen in OctoberDecember. OP reached ¥11.8bn, up ¥7.5bn YoY (¥10.4bn/20.7% margin

excluding tariff refunds). The twin-axis strategy of Casio Watch volume

expansion and G-Shock margin improvement succeeded. Full-year OP

guidance was revised upward from ¥26bn to ¥34bn, significantly beating

VA consensus of ¥27.8bn, even excluding the ¥3bn tariff refund impact.

The company only revised up H1 guidance, leaving room for upward

revisions for H2.
