CITI'S TAKE
China’s glass fiber market remained bifurcated in the week ended Jul 23.
Coarse roving prices remained under pressure, with demand recovery still
limited amid high temperatures and rainfall, resulting in weak
downstream operating rates and limited procurement enthusiasm. While Anna WangAC
supply remained stable, inventory pressure continued to build modestly. +852-2501-2739
In contrast, electronic yarn fundamentals remained strong. G75 and 7628 anna.d.wang@citi.com
electronic fabric prices were stable after recent increases, but supply
Jack Shang, CFA tightness persisted as new capacity has yet to translate into meaningful
effective supply. CCL customers continued to actively secure materials, +852-2501-2441
