The Eurozone Composite PMI rose 1.9 points to a 5-month high of 51.9, significantly
exceeding expectations (50.2), thanks to a pick-up in both manufacturing and services. Franziska Fischer

Eurozone Manufacturing PMI rose 0.6 points to 52.0 with strong details: manufacturing
output (+1.3 to a 52-month high of 53.0), new orders (+0.6 to 50.9), new export orders Felix Huefner
(+0.2 to 49.9) and employment (+0.8 to 49) were all up. The Service PMI was up 2.2

escalation of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and the sharp increase in energy
prices. As a result, we would at least partly discount today's stronger-than-expected PMI
