Arcus Biosciences (RCUS.N) - RCUS Advances Multi-Line Development Strategy

in ccRCC with New Collabs ft. SMMT’s ivonescimab and AVEO’s tivozanib

RCUS announced two new collaborations to evaluate casdatifan in combination

with SMMT’s anti-PD-1xVEGF bispecific, ivonescimab, in 1L ccRCC patients as a

TKI-sparing regimen, and separately, with AVEO Oncology’s highly selective

VEGFR TKI, tivozanib, vs. tivo alone in 2L+ ccRCC patients previously treated with

belzutifan, in two new, separate cohorts within RCUS’s platform study ARC-20.

SMMT/AVEO will supply ivo/tivo, respectively, while RCUS will conduct and

sponsor the study, and each company will retain development/commercial rights

to their respective molecules. The AVEO-partnered randomized cohort will start

enrolling in 4Q26, and initial data from the SMMT collab are expected to be

generated by mid-2027. These collaborations support mgmt’s goal of identifying

the optimal combination regimens for all lines of RCC therapy, which also includes

a 1L TKI-sparing triplet (cas+anti-PD-1+ipi) expected to proceed into Ph3 by YE26,

and a 2L combination regimen of cas + cabo, the current standard-of-care TKI
