Truck Stop/TLFI: Reaching an Elevated

We surveyed 58 Carriers and Shippers to assess current purchasing intentions Equilibrium (15 July 2026)

and capital spending plans for the North American Class 8 truck market. The

results point to a constructive but not overly optimistic outlook, with replacement

demand continuing to serve as the primary support for new equipment orders

rather than the emergence of a broad investment cycle. Most respondents (55%)

expect fleet spending to remain stable or modestly higher, with very limited

expectations for widespread capex reductions. 54% of respondents noted

replacement of aging or end-of-life equipment remains the dominant driver of
