Shein is preparing to launch an initial public offering in Hong Kong as early as August
2026 after receiving approval from China’s securities regulator. The fast-fashion
retailer is expected to raise between US$2 billion and US$3 billion and is reportedly
targeting a valuation of approximately US$30 billion, significantly below the more
than US$90 billion valuation achieved in previous funding rounds. The company
previously explored listings in the United States and London before shifting its plans
to Hong Kong. Market sources indicate that the final offering size, valuation and
timing remain subject to investor demand and regulatory procedures.
