In this note we review trading data trends from Saudi Tadawul for Jun’26.
Saudi Tadawul published daily trading data for Jun’26, and we outline the key
highlights from the latest activity trends. Equities trading value increased to
SAR108bn in Jun’26 from SAR92bn in May’26. ADTV stood at SAR4.92bn in Jun’26,
down from SAR5.72bn in May’26 and SAR5.71bn/SAR5.77bn in Apr/Mar’26. Velocity
improved to 39% in Jun’26 from 32% in May’26, though it remained below the 44%
level recorded in Apr’26.
Banks were the most traded sector in Jun’26, accounting for c.21% of traded value,
followed by Materials at c.17% and Consumer/Retail at c.13%. Foreign ownership
levels were broadly stable, with ownership excluding strategic investors and Saudi
Aramco increasing by c.1bp mom in Jun’26, while net traded value improved driven
by foreign inflows.
