UK maintains AR7 strike prices for AR8 auction
The UK government is keeping administrative strike prices for renewables in the
upcoming Allocation Round 8 (AR8) at AR7 levels. The bid ceilings remain at £113/MWh
for fixed-bottom offshore wind, £271/MWh for floating and deepwater offshore wind,
£92/MWh for onshore and remote island wind, and £75/MWh for solar. Solar and
onshore wind will be split into separate bidding pots, and fixed-bottom offshore wind
will be placed into its own dedicated pot. Source: Renews
