Brazil’s Central Bank has authorized three registrars to begin the assisted production
phase of “duplicatas escriturais” (trade receivables registration), marking the final
step before full implementation; the rollout is expected to start in early July with initial
voluntary participation from major companies, aiming to modernize and increase
efficiency, transparency, and security in receivables financing.
