Vicat accelerates its industrial AI strategy with the acquisition of Araïko (Vicat,

16th June 2026)

Vicat has announced the acquisition of Araïko, a specialist in industrial artificial

intelligence, to accelerate its digital transformation and enhance operational

efficiency across its value chain. Combined with le1817, Vicat’s in-house digital

factory, the integration strengthens capabilities across both AI-driven production

optimisation (machines) and AI-enabled organisational transformation (business

processes). The combined entity brings together 42 experts, enabling Vicat to

deploy AI solutions from shopfloor operations to enterprise decision-making.

Strategically, the deal expands Vicat’s ability to drive productivity gains, energy and

material efficiency, and quality improvements, while also supporting industrial

clients with scalable, high-value AI solutions. Araïko’s expertise in generative AI,

multi-agent systems, and data science, combined with le1817’s strengths in

embedded machine learning and edge computing, positions the group to enhance
