M6 (Hold, last close: EUR 12.42): TF1 signs distribution deal with Netflix in France,

mixed read for M6. Yesterday, French broadcaster TF1 (n/r) announced a

distribution agreement with Netflix, thus enabling Netflix subscribers in France to

access TF1 content directly at no extra cost. Effective June 19th, this agreement

would enable Netflix subscribers to get access to both TF1’s linear TV channels and

TF1+ streaming service including its extensive content library. Under the

agreement, TF1 will retain responsibility for programming, advertising sales, and

rights management, while Netflix contributes distribution capabilities, product

experience, and its recommendation technology; neither company has disclosed

the specifics of the advertising revenue sharing. Overall, the latest TF1-Netflix

distribution deal represents a mixed read for Groupe M6. As a reminder, M6 signed

a similar distribution agreement with Amazon Prime Video in France in January

2026 (see here). M6's agreement with Amazon Prime includes programming from

linear TV channels (M6, W9, 6ter, and Gulli) as well as M6+ which includes 30,000

hours in its content library.
