Global equities gained as risk-on sentiment returned 15 June 2026
Global equity markets gained (+0.6%) last week as geopolitical risks eased and oil prices Quant Strategy
fell, offsetting mixed inflation data. Last week, the best performing region was Europe Global
(+1.9%), while Japan (-1.6%) fell the most. Among global sectors, Semis (+4.8%),
Consumer Staples (+2.8%) and Banks (+2.7%) were the best performers. Among styles,
Risk outperformed the MSCI AC World Index by 2.6%. Global equity market performance
was also supported by a higher Global News Pulse (47% to 50%), the Global Earnings
