Brookfield has invested close to S$900m in Singapore industrial and logistics Singapore/ASEAN Property and

assets over the past year and sees a similar pace, potentially near S$1bn annually, REITs

as achievable if opportunities meet its return hurdles. It bought three properties Terence M Khi AC

Monetary policy testimony continues to be three hours. At his inaugural

semiannual monetary policy testimony, new Chair Warsh gave some very

hawkishly stern remarks about the inflation backdrop. However, he offered no

clear framework for what this has to do with the conduct of monetary policy. Of

more importance for the outlook, today’s CPI number, coupled with Waller’s

remarks yesterday, indicates the Committee now has the breathing room of a
