week on World Cup RevPAR trends, select service RevPAR comparisons, and
implied World Cup handle from New York data, 2) weekly / 2Q26 to date RevPAR
trends and our updated estimates for where 2Q26 Lodging C-Corps domestic
RevPAR is tracking, 3) May sports-betting data, tracking operator OSB GGR for the
2Q26 to date, and NY / WV weekly June datapoints, 4) May iCasino data and
tracking operator iCasino GGR for the 2Q26 to date, 5) May Brick & Mortar data and
tracking the casino GGR versus our estimates, 6) May Las Vegas results, and 7) June
Macau GGR and our updated Macau forecasts. Plus more.
Portfolio Managers Summary:
RevPAR: U.S. RevPAR continues to be strong overall, led by Luxury RevPAR,
improving select service chain scales, and demand from the World Cup. Last week,
U.S. hotel RevPAR was up 9.6% Y/Y. Rates were up 9.2% Y/Y and occupancy was
up ~40 bps Y/Y. Transient RevPAR was up 14.6% (occupancy +1.0%), while Group
RevPAR was up 10.2% (occupancy -1.8%). For the 2Q26 to date, on a year over year
basis, we estimate using our daily RevPAR tracker, RevPAR is up 6.2% for the U.S.
Industry, +10.6% for Luxury, +5.8% for Upper Upscale, +1.9% for Economy, and
+6.8% for the Top 25 Markets.
