Meet the Speaker
Jeffrey Maneval, MD, is the Director of Cognitive Neurology at MaineHealth (07/2025-
present) and previously served as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of
Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine (09/2022-07/2025). He completed fellowship
training in behavioral neurology with an emphasis on Alzheimer's disease and the related
diseases, the mind-body connection, and the links between neurologic and psychiatric
illnesses.
His clinical interests are in Alzheimer's disease, anterograde amnesia, behavioral issues in
dementia, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, cognitive impairment, corticobasal
syndrome, dementia with Lewy bodies, expressive language disorder, frontal lobe
disinhibition, memory loss, mild cognitive impairment, and neurodegenerative diseases.

Emily Field, CFA is a Director and Head of U.S.
Biopharmaceuticals equity research at Barclays. Joining
the bank’s London office in 2017, she previously served as
Head of the European Pharmaceuticals team, earning a #4
individual ranking in European Pharmaceuticals &
Biotechnology in the 2025 Extel survey. With more than
two decades experience across both buy-side and sell-side
roles, she has worked across multiple investing strategies
including risk arbitrage and equity long/short. Prior to
Barclays, Ms. Field held positions at UBS O’Connor and
Millennium Management. Originally hailing from Chicago,
Ms. Field holds a B.A. in Economics and History from Yale
