Meet the Speaker

Jeffrey Maneval, MD, is the Director of Cognitive Neurology at MaineHealth (07/2025-

present) and previously served as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of

Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine (09/2022-07/2025). He completed fellowship

training in behavioral neurology with an emphasis on Alzheimer's disease and the related

diseases, the mind-body connection, and the links between neurologic and psychiatric

illnesses.

His clinical interests are in Alzheimer's disease, anterograde amnesia, behavioral issues in

dementia, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, cognitive impairment, corticobasal

syndrome, dementia with Lewy bodies, expressive language disorder, frontal lobe

disinhibition, memory loss, mild cognitive impairment, and neurodegenerative diseases.
