As the obesity treatment landscape continues to evolve (see our ADA Morgan Stanley India Company Private Limited+

conference recap HERE), differentiation among next-gen therapies remains a key Research Associate

focus. While first and second-gen GLP-based agents (Novo's Semaglutide and LLY's Saket.Agarwal@morganstanley.com +91 22 6995-4012

Tirzepatide) established the clinical efficacy of the class in obesity, the next wave of

development is focused on further improving efficacy (LLY's Retatrutide, a tri-

agonist), as well as enhancements in convenience and tolerability, which could

improve long-term persistence. One such axis of differentiation is extended dosing

intervals, with companies seeking to move beyond weekly injections toward

monthly or less-frequent administration schedules that could reduce treatment

burden.
