Google I/O Recap: Rapid AI Productization at Scale to Billions of Users
mainly serves small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) seeking a comprehensive
e-commerce solution. As a global company, Amazon is subject to various regulations and government policies in the countries where it
operates. These regulations may impact the company's operations, impose additional costs, or restrict its growth.Additionally, as Amazon
continues to expand into new markets and businesses, it may face increased scrutiny and potential antitrust actions from regulators. Given the
size of Amazon’s various business units, domestic regulatory concerns are ongoing, and new lawsuits are likely to continue arising. Separately,
the U.S. could restrict Chinese companies from using cloud service providers (such as AWS, Azure, and GCP). This would be incremental to
regulating Chinese companies' purchases of advanced NVIDIA chipsets (H100/H200/H800) and other AI chips. The Biden administration also
banned the sale of new equipment from Chinese telecoms Huawei and ZTE due to perceived national security risks and concerns that China
could intercept or interfere with communications.Amazon has faced criticism for its labor practices and working conditions in its fulfillment
centers. Continued labor disputes, strikes, or adverse publicity related to these issues could harm the company's reputation and affect its
operations. With ~1.5 million employees, ongoing news reports and worker leaks regarding hazardous work environments could negatively
impact the company's perception and thus add risk to the overall investment thesis for Amazon shares. The scope and scale of Amazon’s
operations prompt us to group other potential risks that could affect our investment thesis on AMZN shares.•Privacy and Data Security:
