We attended AutosBuzz, a motors classifieds conference. Our Industry View In-Line

key takeaway is that AI is moving beyond listing/content

automation to facilitating dealer-buyer conversations and

workflows across the buying journey via AI agents, creating

meaningful dealer ROI and platform monetisation upside.

We attended AutosBuzz, a two-day conference with attendees from 175 private and

public participants across marketplaces, dealers, consultants and service providers.

Our key takeaways are set out below.

Agentic AI moves beyond search into the transaction journey. GenAI tools are

already helping dealers create listings, images, videos and other marketing content,

but one of the biggest opportunities framed at AutosBuzz was 24/7 AI agents for

buyers and dealers. The core use case is improving the conversation between the

two, from lead response and qualification through to pricing, finance, inspection and

transaction support. The ROI opportunity looks meaningful, with c.60% of leads

currently receiving no response within 24 hours, while data shared at the event

suggested responses within <1 minute can drive conversion of c.60%, compared with

<1% after >24 hours, and c.75% of buyers purchase from the first dealer they speak

to. If motors classifieds can help close this response gap, they should create clear
