A guiding principle at Morgan Stanley Research is to enhance
your investment process by delivering unique insights that
separate the signal from the noise. An intuitively designed and
well-crafted chart can often accomplish this with exceptional
clarity.
With that mission in mind, these charts in our recently published research stood out

1. Oil: The sharp rise in US seaborne exports and the sharp decline in China's
seaborne imports have helped keep crude prices from going even higher.
2. Global Economics: If the oil shock ends soon, Europe's growth is likely at
greatest relative risk; if it persists, Asia's risk likely increases.
3. Tech Diffusion – China AI Adoption: AI adoption is broadening in China, and
the economics are becoming tangible – heavier AI adopters are enjoying
better margins, EPS growth, and share price performance.
4. Humanoids: We believe China will strengthen its global dominance in
humanoid robotics, providing a significant new export engine for the nation.
5. CATL: We believe Top Pick CATL is entering a powerful product cycle across
two next‑generation battery technologies.
6. Thematic Strategy: Flows into thematic funds totaled US$23.8bn in 1Q26,
more than tripling from 1Q25 levels, with the US seeing the largest inflows.
7. US Freight Transportation: Our survey suggests Amazon Supply Chain
Services is already gaining traction across the Freight ecosystem.
