The two most significant foundation model vendors have now launched dedicated Software - Large Cap / Mid & Small
cybersecurity products and are partnering with (not competing against) incumbent Cap
security vendors. OpenAI's Daybreak, announced yesterday, is a tiered Brian Essex, CFA AC
commercial offering pairing GPT-5.5 with the Codex agentic harness. The project (1-212) 622-5990
