In-person channel check

We visited Foot Locker in NYC (Union Square), New York on 7/21/2026. Overall,

compared to our checks in June, we noticed a decrease in both the breadth and depth

of promotions, suggesting that the company is continuing to make progress on its

inventory cleanup. We also noticed the new Salomon assortment (AS, covered by Brooke

Roach), a refreshed Adidas assortment, and early indications of Back to School apparel

and merchandise starting to come in:

n Traffic was light with five employees (compared to previous checks of seven to

eight); in-stocks appeared healthy.

n A new Salomon’s Men wall display was added near the store’s entrance; the

assortment replaced some shelf space previously allocated to New Balance. The

Salomon’s Women wall display was added in between Asics and New Balance.

n Nike’s Men wall display continued to feature many promotions across Air Max and

Dunk Low sneakers.

n Adidas shoe assortment for both Men and Women were refreshed and as a result,

had little to no promotions: The Men’s section featured Adistars, while the Women’s

section featured Barreda Mary Jane’s, Sambas, Samba Jane, Spezial, and Adidas

Tokyo shoes.

o In the Women’s section, the Adidas wall display was moved to the front,

replacing previous New Balance assortment. New Balance was relocated to

Nike’s former location, while Nike moved to the back of the store where

Adidas was previously merchandised.
