Day 1 of the Farnborough Airshow is officially in the books. The atmosphere was

North America

noticeably more active than at prior Farnborough events. Investor attendance Industry View Attractive

appeared meaningfully higher, foot traffic was consistently strong, and

conversations across management teams reflected an industry benefiting from a

broad-based aerospace and defense upcycle. The day also provided a glimpse into

the future of mobility. We began Day 1 with a nearly two-hour door-to-door

commute from Central London to Farnborough by car but returned in just 45

minutes via a Joby-Blade demonstration trip — a 15-minute eVTOL helicopter flight

followed by ~30 minutes of ground transportation. While eVTOL commercialization

remains several years away, the experience underscored the potential value

proposition of advanced air mobility. We met with Textron, Embraer, ATI, Moog,

Elbit Systems, Joby Aviation, StandardAero, and Planet Labs. Below, we summarize

our key takeaways from the conference and our meetings with management teams.
