n France and Germany are set to deepen defense cooperation in areas including

nuclear deterrence, missile defense, long-range strike, and space, signaling

renewed strategic alignment. The discussions follow the cancellation of the FCAS

fighter jet program due to industrial disputes, highlighting ongoing challenges in

n The UK will invest €300mn to support the delivery of Swedish Gripen fighter jets

to Ukraine, strengthening the country’s air defense capabilities against Russian

attacks. The package also supports the UK defence industry, helping sustain
