We update our forecasts following 1Q results. We revise our F12/26 business profit

forecast upward and now expect to be broadly in line with guidance, reflecting: 1) 1Q

results were slightly above our forecast, 2) additional cost reductions beyond the

initial plan will likely be implemented, and 3) newly incorporating the impact of

lower depreciation expenses resulting from a change in the depreciation period of

manufacturing equipment, which began to appear from 1Q and we now expect it to

continue for the full year. For F12/27, while we expect the company to announce

further proactive cost cut measures, we believe some initiatives may be brought

forward into F12/26.
