The CMA CGM Group, a global sea, land, air, and logistics solutions provider, agreed to

acquire FedEx Supply Chain, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp, for $1.4 billion. The

acquisition is expected to close in 2026. FedEx Supply Chain’s assets and nearly 10,000

team members will be integrated into CMA CGM’s subsidiary, CEVA Logistics. The

combined entity will operate approximately 150 warehouses with a combined workforce

of 20,000 people located at more than 240 locations.

Saia Inc. opened two new terminals in Duluth, Minnesota, and Columbia, Missouri. The

Duluth facility will serve northern Minnesota and surrounding markets, while the

Columbia terminal strengthens connectivity throughout central Missouri and nearby

Midwest freight corridors.
