IHS Auto Production Update – Down Another 200k 30 June 2026

In the June update, IHS decreased its global 2026 estimate by 199,360 units mostly due High Yield Credit

to a decrease in Greater China, and now sees global 2026 volumes down -2.6% YoY to United States

90.68mn units and North America 2026 volumes -1.8% YoY to 14.99mn units. The June Autos

forecast update incorporates a mix of generally modest near-term revisions, with more

significant reductions in Greater China due to ongoing domestic demand pressures. Table of Contents

BofA expects U.S. light vehicle sales in June to run at a SAAR of 16.2mn units U.S. segments & market share 4

(Bloomberg est. of 16.1mn), up from 15.7mn units last year. The numbers are expected European registrations & share 7

to be released on Wednesday, July 1st. We expect Detroit 3 total vehicle unit sales to be China auto sales 8

AutoNation (AN) announced the acquisition of three premium luxury dealerships in the Used vehicles 17

San Francisco Bay Area, effective June 22, 2026. The acquired stores are Audi Fremont, Auto bonds pricing & performance 18

Mercedes-Benz of Fremont, and Porsche Fremont. Together, the stores represent

approximately $400mn in annual revenue and 4,800 retail new and used vehicle annual
