While the senior housing industry is experiencing unprecedented demand amidst

a lack of supply, this period of hyper growth will not last forever. When

fundamentals eventually normalize, we believe operational excellence will

become a major focus for investors, as we expect performance of senior housing

operating platforms across the Healthcare REITs to diverge meaningfully. The

history of the industry is littered with operators that faltered during periods of

high supply or slowing demand, and even Blackstone eventually sold out of the

WELL is gearing up for this future, with CEO Shankh Mitra laying out his strategic

view on this particular issue in a recent letter to shareholders. Per the CEO,

we have built an industry-leading predictive analytics platform which requires

exceptional people, a perpetual supply of myriad and expensive data sources, and

constant evolution. We do not sacrifice the quality and the depth of the platform
